ContractorCompliance separates in-app Activity from email notifications. Activity is your live workspace feed; email settings control what goes to inboxes.
Activity feed
Open Activity from the sidebar or the bell icon in the header. The feed includes renewal expiring and expired alerts, renewal completed updates, compliance changes, document uploads, reminder emails sent, and team invite or join events.

- Filter by All, Unread, Renewals, Documents, Team, or Emails.
- Mark individual items read or unread; use Mark all as read to clear the badge.
- Click an item to open the related renewal detail sheet or navigate to Documents or Renewals.
Email notifications
Settings → Email Notifications toggles expiration reminders, weekly digest (Mondays), overdue alerts, and document upload confirmations. These emails respect your Reminder Defaults recipient list in addition to the workspace owner.
Reminder Defaults
Settings → Reminder Defaults defines the default days-before-expiry schedule (for example 30, 14, 7) and additional recipient emails. Individual renewals can override the schedule in their edit dialog.
Where to change preferences
Use the user menu → Email notification preferences to jump directly to Settings → Email Notifications.
